Active Infrared Cameras

Developed by us, using missile guidance technology, the basis of infrared people counters is to emit a beam across the point of entry.  A count is recorded every time a beam is broken by a customer entering the store.

We can build intelligence into the infrared system using algorithms that enable the counters to detect whether the cause of the beam being broken is a genuine shopper, and disregard other possibilities such as a small child running in and out of the door or a buggy.
