Through the first two waves of Ipsos’ Consumer Health and Safety Index, Ipsos found the most effective stay-open strategy is to adhere to the utmost health and safety standards. The challenge now is measuring how consistently locations are executing these policies that keep consumers and employees safe.
The solution: Ipsos’ Consumer Health & Safety Index determines the health & safety initiatives that build consumer confidence and measures how effectively brands are delivering on these needs – allowing your business to benchmark industry standards, build customer loyalty, and certify compliance.
The Index is a cross-industry study that allows businesses to monitor how effectively brands are delivering on the health and safety initiatives consumers value most.
Brands that meet or exceed the Ipsos Best Brand Standard will have the opportunity to get Health & Safety Certified.
If you qualify and choose to participate in the certification, Ipsos will provide certification materials in the form of stickers and trophy awards that you can place in-store to drive consumer confidence.
The Consumer Health & Safety Index measures the performance of brands nationwide based on results from our Health & Safety Attitudes & Attributes Survey. Our key measurement areas are:

• Signage/Messaging – health and safety measures and site-journey guidance
• Sanitizer – personal sanitization amenities
• Wearables – personal protective equipment
• Barriers – physical separator methods
• Cleanliness – enhanced cleanliness procedures
